Staying at Kirimata Resort
We have arranged discounted set prices directly with Kirimaya Resort for wedding guests. We recommend staying on-site and arriving on 7 January at the latest to settle in before the celebrations begin — the resort is beautiful, and being together in one place is part of the experience.
We have three room types available, all one-bedroom apartments sleeping up to two people and including an impressive daily breakfast buffet. Horizon View and Plantation View are located right next to the main pool and restaurant. Atta has its own private pool, and breakfast is also served here. Atta and the Horizon/Plantation area are around a 10-minute walk apart — very walkable, and golf cart transfers are available through the resort staff.
Prices are per room for three nights — rooms are limited, so we will allocate them in the order we receive your requests

A third guest can be accommodated on a roll-out bed for an additional ฿1,400 (~€38) per night, also including breakfast. Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 12:00. If you would like to extend your stay beyond the three nights, that is absolutely possible — just let us know and we will arrange it.

Getting there from Bangkok
Khao Yai is approximately 180 km northeast of Bangkok. There are a few options to get there:
By Car (Recommended)
The most comfortable option and the one we recommend most. The drive from Bangkok takes around 2.5–3 hours depending on traffic, and having your own car makes a real difference in Khao Yai, where public transport is limited and many of the best spots are spread out across the region. You can rent a car directly from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), or consider sharing a rental or private minibus with other guests travelling at the same time. Please note that a Dutch driving licence alone is not sufficient in Thailand — you will need to obtain an international driving permit (IDP) before you travel. This can be arranged quickly and easily at any ANWB store in the Netherlands.
By Bus & Taxi
Take a bus from Bangkok's Mo Chit terminal towards Pak Chong (approximately 3 hours), then arrange a local taxi or ride to the resort (around 30 minutes). A more budget-friendly option, though less convenient with luggage.
By Train & Taxi
There are currently 6 direct train services a day from Bangkok to Pak Chong, taking between 2 hours 42 minutes and 3 hours 49 minutes. Trains depart from Krung Thep Aphiwat (Bang Sue Grand) Station — note that this is Bangkok's main intercity terminal, not the old Hua Lamphong station. From Pak Chong, take a local taxi or songthaew to the resort (around 30 minutes).

Flying to Thailand
The closest major airport is Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok. There are multiple flight options that depart from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) and arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok.
Direct Flights
EVA Air, KLM and Thai Airways operate non-stop flights from Amsterdam to Bangkok, taking around 11 hours and 15 minutes. Convenient and comfortable, but generally the priciest option — expect to pay around €1000-1,100* per person for a return ticket in economy.
Connecting Flights
A much more affordable alternative, typically ranging from €600–800* return. The extra travel time comes from a layover, usually of a few hours, but many airlines on this route are perfectly comfortable for a long-haul journey. China Southern/Eastern and Cathay are popular and reliable choices. The total journey time is typically around 15–20 hours including the layover.
